How to use Shape J and examplesThis shape differs from Shape B and I by bending the tip end and is capable of soldering by applying the tip in 2 ways: face and point. It is used for drag soldering and correction of bridging.Soldering tiny chip parts such as 0603Lay down the end pad section and put the tip to the land. * Soldering tip in the picture is T30-J with an N2 system iron for pre-heating effect.Some IC is specified by manufacturer not to be touched electrode by tip end.The other tip shapes are recommended. It prevents the troubles such as solder bridge.     Check the right timing to feed solder.Correcting BridgingIf the bridge amount is smallStand the tip on end and drag the tip slowly.Please operate with clean tip.If the bridge amount is largeLay down the end pad section and drag the tip slowly while putting the tip on the solder in the bridged section.Please operate with clean tip.
